H-A-Double L-O-Double U-Double E-N Spells Halloween!

Since the brother brought up the Halloween (I'd spell it out like ya'll do, but I'm in a hurry, I have a 14 month old monkey on my legs screaming), I thought I'd post a few of my most favorite Halloween things.

First of all, has anyone seen these glorious action figures?

Abra-ca-dabra, the halloween witch horse. She comes with her hat, a brush, a cape, and apparently this little darling has, according to the packaging, magnets on their feet. We all know what the brush/hat/cape is for, but one might ponder on the magnet feet. Ponder no longer, I have your answer. FRIDGE WALKIN'!!!

I'm sure they'd walk nicely up my car too but I'm afraid that might just push me over the edge. Moving on...Next I've got a special treat for you that every single year my kids think they will die without.

One time we bought one and it is apparently sound activated, so one day when I was making dinner or something in the house, I could hear this strange sequence of sound coming from my front porch. It went something like this:

clap clap clap

OoooOoOoooOO!!! (from the ghost)

BLOOD CURDLING SCREAM!!! (from the kids)

repeat 2413523 times.

My neighbors hated us.

Next is something I see at Michaels every year.

YAY! It's the Bag Of Skulls! Riddle me this, what exactly are you supposed to do with the bag of skulls? Is this something kids like in their trick-or-treat bags? Do you decorate your home with these lovely orbs? How about the church bag, do you pack them into your diaper bag and when a little one starts to scream through the meeting, should you hand him a little skull to play with? I'm confused, but they do look fun to squish/bite none the less.

So look what those lucky Japs get: (I can say Japs, my husband is 1/4 Japanese)

That's right, KitKat Pumpkins. I don't exactly know how or why, but it sounds so delicious to me right now I can hardly control myself. Those asians sure got it goin' on, am I right?!?

Next and lastly, I'll share with you a few pictures that I made all by myself to hang in my home for the season of Hallows Eve festivities, and I'd love to share them with you now:

First, the one I love to call "Hello Buzz? It's Kjersten! You are SUPER hot!"

Click it if you want to see it large, and I suggest you do...it's spectacular.

I love this last one I call "Spooky Adventure Ladies" is of Kjersten and Eliza, and they're coming of what is dubbed "The Wildest Ride In The Wilderness"...and if THAT isn't frightening in itself, well then I just don't know what is. Enjoy:

Love the ghost, I've got to go get one for our front porch. The OOOOooooOOOOOOOOOooooooo is very memorable. Liza remember the one we put on the door at LP9? What costumes besides the Duggars are you guys thinking of??

Alli Easley said...

Yes it is memorable, and louder than hellfire.

Our Harper is going to be Sebastian, see a post below to see the picture, but I'm not sure what the other kids are going to be yet. Probably hobos since that's a running joke in our family!

When are you going to write a book and make millions? Seriously....(my sister calls you the funniest person she has never met)

Alli Easley said...

haha, I actually have 2 books I've written AND an agent in NYC, but...5 kids and a move have prevented me from writing my proposals! I know, I'm a tard! Also that's so nice of your sister, making people laugh is saweet!! I luff eet!

Laurie said...

Ok, I have to get one of those ponys and ghosts!!! I was thinking of moving in with you....whatdyathink??

Stacey said...

Uhhhhh, what are the books, and how do I get my hands on them? Hello, advertise!

Alli Easley said...

Laurie - come on! bring both of your boys!

Stacey - One is about a youth program I went to in the early 90's. It's been done for almost 2 years, but it's really hard for me to put out. I'm thinking it needs to be re-written since I have a new perspective on things right now. The other is fiction called Prophesy From A Stall, and it's about done, but I honestly need a laptop to finish that. By the time I get into my "writing zone", there's someone yelling for me, or the phone rings. Someday I'll finish it...someday soon hopefully!

You have so many secret, hidden talents. What are some others?

Alli Easley said...

Hmm...here's one for ya. I can tap dance. Eliza and I once performed for strangers for no good reason at the Salt Palace.

-KJ said...

Yes, spectacular. Thanks a load.
Second, put the sculls on stakes and put them in your lawn.
C. She can belch the alaphabet like no other
Then of all, she snorts when she laughs, just like my mom and I! Her true talants are bottomles...just like her lyrics!

Alli Easley said...

hahahaha I knew you'd love that KJ. You're gorgeous so shut the hell up. Ohh, I just said Hell. Whoops.

Also, I can burp the alphabet, but now I throw up a little bit afterwards. Plus, the snorting like you and your mom is charming, or so I like to imagine in my own little world. Speaking of bottomless, my son has learned to take off his diaper by himself. CHARMING!

She can also make a really cute face which I call "cute teeth"...anyone want to see a picture?

Alli Easley said...

Plese don't make me kill your face, Eliza. I'm serious.

Dani said...

Cute teeth please! (Liza, I'll be your bodyguard so no face killing happens) Is it kind of like that crazy half mask we laughed about forever? With the crazy cheeks and teeth? Do you recollect? I love the whole burping thing as a talent, just not around me. Good nasty, juicy burps make me throw up a little in my mouth and then go searching for the tums.

AHHHH I WANT THOSE PONIES!!

Yes, I am four.

Jackson gave a pony to Ashley 2 years ago for her birthday. He picked it out and said, "Oh Mom, Ashley is gonna love this".

Okay, I'll save the picture for another day.

Alli Easley said...

Thaaaaank you Eliza! Dani, you are a bad influence!

Em, I know! I should get them for your Christmas presents!!!

Ashley O said...

Why do I laugh at all these comments...OH CUTE TEETH IS GOOD!!!

Um I like Liza's pose in that peecha. Um the ponies. When you said magnet feet the first thing that came to me was FRIDGE! YOU PUT THEM ON THE REFRIDGE!

I still have the ponies Lizee! And I remember him telling you that he wanted to get me two and you said that was too much to give and he was all NO IT COMES WITH TWO. One was big with super long hair, a brush and a tiara and a lil cute baby baby pony. And Riley gave me da nice big ol' box of Swedish Fish. My roomies were jealous of me.

I have a picture of the ponies, the box of fish and the flowers that I got from Bret Bretterson aka My Awesome brother Tayloooor! I love my famerly. All of you!
(Em that means you too of course!)

P.S. Every time I watch The Incredibles I think Tiffany looks like Violet!!! Anyone agree? No? Ok!

I was thinking of being her a while ago but then I forgot about it. Then just the other day someone told me I looked like her cuz my hair was over one of my eyes and straight. Yay! I want to be her.

Ashley O said...

P.S.S. When I say I want to be her I mean for Halloween. derrr

Eliza said...

have fun in the tight suit. Wait...what am I saying, your body can totally pull that off! I wish. I'm more like Helen.

Ashley O said...

Well if you remember Violet is a human too! She wears real clothes too!!! Two styles!

Ashley O said...

why the heck did I say too/two like 87 times in that post alone?

Mandy said...

ashley you should be violet and i think tiffany looks like her to. i have alwasy thought that as well. :) i remember when jackson bought you those ponies. so cute!

Alli Easley said...

Tiffany does look like Violet! She's over here like jumping up and down to be her for Halloween! I don't know how she'll figure out that bodysuit, like Liza said. I couldn't pull it off, my body would look like a bag of fighting cats.

Lyd said...

Oh, I am totally going to go get those Little Ponies today for some sweet decor for my apartment!

And Cute Teeth please! I think that is one of the coolest pictures of you that I have ever seen!

And true for the both of you, Ash and Tiff, about Violet. I too should be her for H-A-Double L-O-W-Double E-N (spells Halloween) with my now almost black hair!

Oh, and Alli, there isn't double U's in Halloween, it's just a W. :) hehe haha meme

Eliza said...

I was biting my tongue lid on the misspelled word. I was just waiting for someone to slap her hand with a yardstick

Eliza said...

Oh and ash...if you were in "human clothes" people just might say, "oh look at ash...she didn't know what to be...so sad". DO THE SUPER HERO OUTFIT!

Alli Easley said...

Um, I know about the Double U. Someone in another blog said they always wanted to spell it like that so I did for fun. Actually, I think it was you Lyd.

Lyd said...

Twas me.

Eliza said...

Do you guys have tongue lids too? Hee hee
