I Should Shank You With My Shiv

My diet has officially gone awry. Oft times, when I'm feeling low (and fat) I'll pump myself up by repeating ideas or helpful words to myself such as "You have a sweet spirit" or "You are funny" but lately, that does not work. Stress from many issues has caused me to bag the entire diet plan. I don't talk about my stressors or problems (even if they're freakin huge and scary) so I snack, which is normal from what I've found here on the Google box machine. Aaaanyway...

Mackenzie
and Tiffany have been blogging! They wanted me to remind you all. Moving on...

So Mike and I have this ongoing argument. Shiv or Shank. Shank or Shiv? Mike says that shiv is a verb and a noun, shank being an alternate word or synonym to shiv. I say that while they both have use as a noun, shanks definition as a noun has to do with a cut of meat, possibly from the upper leg area, while it's more likely to be used as a verb if used properly. In addition, I personally believe that Shiv is more likely to be used as a noun in this case, it's meaning being similar to what you imagine a knife being, only home made. Thus leaving the action of shanking someone with your shiv open for use to all who applies it correctly. Am I right?

While you discuss this amongst yourselves, I'll bring it on back to the initial topic listed here in this post...my diet. I'll close now with an example of what kinds of exercise I'll be getting starting tomorrow. Enjoy.

Oh and don't forget to throw up on yourself when there are approximately 1 minutes and 56 seconds left. And please turn off my music on the sidebar before you start this insanity.

That is all.

Ok, Alli, a shank can be a noun! How do I know this officially? Richard is an officer at CCDC and yes, the inmates will try to make a "shank" out of a pencil, tooth brush, razor, braided toilet paper(Ok, j/j on that one Ü) but yes, they will make a shank and shank you, if given the oppurtunity! Hope that helps your case...

OH shank!!!! I have experienced Guitar hero for the first time this weekend. How do you do the 5th finger? How is that POSSIBLE?!?!?

First off. I have never played GH. I know! I am sure I would suck.

Next, I am torn on the debate. Shank can be a verb. We used the term in volleyball. To shank a ball, to play like Todd Hardy.

I would tend to agree with you more so than Mike, but I would once again be awaiting a neck split.

As for the diet. YOU CAN DO IT. Also, you do have a sweet spirit and are funny. Everyone has their tough times. I thought you were looking great when I saw you!

Also, Olivia thought the last 1 min and 59 seconds were the best.

That is freakin insane!! I can hardly get the 5th finger!

And agreed!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! I need to start being better. My roommates just love making cake! I just need to stop eating them. hehe

Oh, and I too am alive! I've done three new posts in one week and I have only gotten like -8 comments! I'll go to theirs later today after some hw!

How do you comment on camel toes? Enough said right? I bet I have piqued some intrest now!!!

Carla, you are right. I know shank can be a noun, but it sounds more like a verb to me like..."Hey man, I just got shanked with a shiv!" you know?

Stacey - 5th finger is shifting...think violin. THINK VIOLIN!!!

KJ - Thanks for the encouragement, you too Lydia! Now...lets plan a tournament for GH3!

Lyd, I agree with KJ on the camel toe. How the crap do you comment on that????? SICK!

Sister Tiff! Did you call me today? My girls just said "um oh crap...Tiffany called???" so yeah. Great!

Mandy, you guys need to come up. When does Tay's school get out Wednesday?

Alli, what can I say...you are far too sophisticated than the inmates! Ü No way they know what a Shiv is! That is why they will just "shank you with their shank"...keeping it REAL simple and basic, they do!

Oh, and by the way, dipped some Doritos in some cottage cheese tonight! Remember teaching me that? I always think of you when I enjoy the cc dip with my Doritos! Ü

Alli Easley said...

I'm glad to hear that I am more sophisticated than the inmates. Tell Richard to school 'em up in their vocab skillz.

Oh and I'm laughing so hard that you're eating the cottage cheese with Doritos! I do remember that. SICK! I still love that. Next on my list, you should eat cheezits with cream cheese. Your scale will thank me, as will you. Ü

Also, mix the dry ranch dip with the fat free cottage cheese and dip big fat pretzels in it. GOOD and very low fat!!!!

Also, I suck at GH because I try to move my fingers with the pitch instead of with the little colors. Not realistic, not musically correct>>>>>>Don't let it mess up your new Violin Lessons.

Alli Easley said...

When you play it on Expert, you do move your left hand fingers with the notes. Also, I'm not sure we're playing it because it's musically correct or realistic though...what do you think Ash? Mike?

Eliza said...

I haven't played in so long....I need to practice and take lessons on the GH. Did you buy the rock the 80's one? Is it any good?

-KJ said...

Yes. Lets just screw the violin all together. I will embrace a new talent...Guitar Hero. That way they won't ask me to play in church, and when they pass around the "What are you talents" clip board I will be excited to write that down. Can you imagine the snickers you would hear as it is passed around? Pass me that clip board please...Thank you!

taylor is pretty busy with school now. only 5 weeks left until finals so he really has no free time. but we can do stuff without him. hehe! call me
i want that pretzel dip right now!
and kj, i would love to see someone write GH as their talent. im sure taylor will next time. :)

That crazy one you posted is psycho. It should be named the Godfather Guitar Hero. It sounds like a repeating machine gun in those crazy parts. It is a real talent to play that stuff. Don't feel so badly about putting it on the clipboard...Maybe we could make a guitar Hero to "Walk Tall You're a Daughter of God...could Michael do that?

or the always favorite "In the Hollow of thy Hand" for the missionary farewells...I'll have a few of those coming up in a decade.

I think I would be a "Rising Generation" fan.
Liza, you are in charge of the arm movements. I am sure you can recall the ones that Brenda Burr taught you.
Sacrament program here we come!

Actually, he could make those. We found a way to alter your ps2 to make whatever you want. Hahahaaaaa, yes. I'm thinking we should sacrifice a PS2 for the cause.

My suggestion for the song would be "Simon Peter" because of its funky piano.

Eliza said...

not just for the funky piano but cause I already have the arm movements down... thank Me and Sarah

I know this is way late but I prefer shiv. That is what "Vicki" said they are called in the prison system.

I hate that songs are nearly impossible on GH3. I'm hesitant to buy.

George, trust me buddy...it's sooooooo worth it. We just beat it on Hard...of to Expert we go!
