I Want To Pull My Face Off

Ok so let me tell you why really quickly. First of all, in a past relationship, I was never allowed to buy furniture or nice things (except a set of couches that I begged for for my anniversary+birthday+christmas one year, and they were garbage...) and although Mike is a sweet boy who would allow me the treat of doing so, we're white trash. So there you have my first dilemma.

Secondly, I want to redo my house totally in the stuff that I love, the stuff that I have always loved. If you're wondering what that style is...just go to West Elm and check out pretty much anything there. I want a tv stand/buffet table, an armless sectional, the mirrors for the walls...basically everything that looks mid-century modern. I do. I do so freakin bad.

Anyway, I'm about to start throwing everything I have away, except for our mattresses, the dressers, our clothes and a few basic kitchen things. I think we'll just get LoveSacs for the next place. Or maybe we'll keep this awesome, yet unwieldy sectional from my mom and dad. Who knows...

...maybe we'll just live in a huge tent. Those don't cost that much do they?

Please don't pull your face off - then you couldn't do the CPF that I've only heard about ;] oh and btw I have to cancel my "tentative" shoot - change of plans and we can't make it west (at least the whole family!) :[

I'm sorry about the furniture thing - Lester thinks by now in our marriage we should have at least a semblance of taste....but no, we still have an accumulation of hand-me-downs and freebies from Grandparents. But hey, trends make come backs right? ;)

I hear ya sista! I really want to paint but I am afraid it will just be like putting a bow on a turd.

I decided I was going to redo my kitchen dining room this month and I am going to have Lisa McIntyre Jr. help me cause I do need the help!

Treat yourself, really. You deserve it! Your home is already your castle, live the queen you are! ♥ya.

I'm telling you...move here! I am as bad as your sisters You hot mess. About pictures, if you are up for it, me too then. Are you just coming or your whole fam? Tell me your prices, I think I want it all...whole family and individuals. *Did you notice that you are my #1 on nmy blog list...pays off to have an "a" name!*

Dani, I am the same way, everything we have is hand me downs basically, except our mattresses. Seriously. Oh and no worries about the family shoot, whenever you're in Utah, Nevada or California, let me know, we'll do it then.

Carla, haha, sometimes even a turd needs a bow. That's some wisdom right from my hot mess tranny mouth. Have Lisa Mc Jr. help you. I've seen her pictures, she's got the same kind of taste as me...so that works!

Christy, we're totally trying to move there! Liza tells me all the time how you are like our family, except that you are at the Dippidee every day, which would totally be me! Mmmm! Also, on my site are my prices, and the proofing and re-prints are done through Pictage. You'll have to call me to figure it out. I'll totally come do them when I'm there, if you want! It will help our ghetto butts move there! Oh and having an "A" name is fabulous, I always loved that unless the teachers would be all "Today we're starting with Z" and then I'd have a tantrum on the floor. That's how I roll.

Oh, I love West Elm!!! I wish they had those here.
I say you start the "shanty town" look. It really would be a hot mess. Instead of tranny we could call it tranzy. Transient, get it! Hahaha!
Hang in there. THIS is why Lydi is in school. Lets go to market ya'll! Hip hip!!!

Oh you are my best friend for saying "shanty town". My house totally rocks the ShantyTown/Tranzy vibe. It rocks it like no other. Also, I can't wait for Lydi to get out...and for me to sell a kidney! Hooray for black market organ dealers!
