Spring break was always something I looked forward to and then as soon as it came, it was over. My kids started their spring break today, and luckily for them, it goes for two whole weeks. My goals for us these next few weeks is as follows:
- get the entire house cleaned
- laundry all done
- every morning before we "go outside" to play, pick up so that the house stays relatively clean while they're gone.
My house has a tendency to get trashed during the day, which only leaves me and Tiff to clean up after the kids all go to bed. Often, I'm just starting the dishwasher at midnight, and I'm over it. The routine that I've faithfully stuck with for the last year goes down the tubes when they're all home from school, so these next few weeks I'm playing the part I'm often cast in..."Mean Mom". I always get cast as that part because I'm the one raising these kids, plus I rock it so well. It seems to suit me.
Anyway, we're planning on doing things around here because it's a) cheap and b) easy. Thankfully, the beach and the mountains are so close, we'll hit those two places a few times I'm sure, plus our Disneyland passes are blacked out til next Monday, so next week will be our Disneyland week! Good stuff!
Anyway, do you love that card Mackenzie and Tiff made below? The grammar (apostrophe in "Easley's") was cute, so I left it.
Oh and Tiff's going to be 16 in 3 days. Geez.

Yes! I'm so glad it's spring break! We totally have to go to the beach:) I'm thinking about getting a group together to go tomorrow. What do ya think??? Call me!
How fun. I remember the good ol' times of Spring Break. I haven't had one of those since high school. I guess my "Spring Break" was this weekend when I got away from Rexburg to go to Jesse's cabin. (There will soon be a blog about this.) And I guess it's only fair because I get out of school on like the 7th or 10th of April...I'm not quite sure yet. Have fun with these 2 weeks. I'm sure that it'll be a blast! ;)
2 weeks???????? WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mind is not prepared to lose itself this early in the year. I have to prepare myself for JUNE when the kids are out fro 3 months.

so i haven't had spring break in 87 years! lol Mine was this past weekend when I went down to Vegas. Twas fun. wow 2 weeks???!! Dat is craziness all around.
Oh and I noticed the apostrophe and I thought it was dang cute. :) I'm glad you kept it. come up here.
Spring Break? Yea, we had a solid 2 days. Glad to see you got out of bed and put on some clothes. Me, well, that took another hour or so. Bleh.
